Novation Supernova II Samples
When Novation launched the Supernova, in 1998, the synthesiser world was stunned at the feature set of the virtual analogue synth. Not only was it multi-timbral the effects on each patch remained with the patch when it was used in multi mode (which was unique at the time). Two years, while other manufacturers were still catching up, Novation released the Supernova II which had more polyphony and a more powerful synthesis engine. While some believed the basic sound of the Supernova was thin users would often layer the sounds to create a very thick (phatt) sound and to add to this the Supernova II featured a supersaw wave. Even today the synth is highly sought after, especially by those producing EDM (electronic dance music) for which it is almost a standard.
Our Supernova II Budget Sample Collections
As we know how popular the sounds of the Novation Supernova II are so popular we decided to create two sample collections available at the earliest opportunity. Each collection consists of over 2600 individual samples of 128 patches from banks A & B of the Novation Supernova II Rack (the names of the patches sampled are listed at the bottom of this page). Supplied on 2 DVDs in the formats Kontakt/EXS24/WAV - no digital downloads available.
